I'm super excited to unveil Cherry Hill Stitchery's latest product offering: quilt block patterns!
Cozy up for a moment while I introduce you to the first three quilt block designs and tell you what to expect with each traditionally pieced pattern :D.
THE QUILT BLOCKS
For cross-stitchers who are just starting on their quilting journey (or for experienced quilters who want a fast project) I included a Star block. This simplified star requires minimal cutting and minimal piecing. It will twinkle on whatever background you choose because all the corners are floating safely in the middle of the block -- you don't need to worry about accidentally sewing off the points!
I also released a classic pumpkin...
...and for slightly more confident quilters, there is the Raven.
Each of these patterns will create a block that measures a comfortable 12.5", and each block can be repeated or mixed and matched to create pillows, table runners, wall hangings, quilts, project bags, etc. You are limited only by your imagination!
DESIGNED TO MAKE PIECING EASY
Quilting should be enjoyable, not daunting, so each quilt block pattern was designed with user-friendliness in mind. These new patterns include fabric suggestions, an optional cutting layout, and tips for success.
I want you to feel confident as you sew your way through the quilt block, so each pattern is thoughtfully illustrated with colorful, step-by-step instructions and diagrams that are easy to follow, even for novice quilters.
COORDINATE EASILY
Want to sew scrappy? These blocks are great for that! However, cross-stitch is a big deal around here, so I created these blocks with fabric and motifs that coordinate with several Cherry Hill Stitchery cross-stitch designs. If you want to make your displays feel intentional with other Cherry Hill designs, you can use the fabric mentioned in the pattern so the coordinating is already done for you! The basic solid fabrics that are recommended generally don't go out of print, so if you are sewing this season or next, the odds are pretty good you'll be able to find the listed material. Whether you use your own fabric choices or sew with mine; the patterns provide the perfect blend of guidance and artistic freedom.
