Bees are making one more appearance at Cherry Hill Stitchery this year, and this time they are bringing us the Bumble Honey Co.
This design comes as a paper pattern and features flowers, bees, and beehives. The text reads, "Bumble Honey Co."
The design is stitched with shades of green, yellow, black, and gray.
PATTERN DETAILS:
The model was stitched on 32 ct. Vintage Smokey White Belfast linen (Zweigart). The stitch count is 81w x 85h and the finished design measures approximately 5"w x 5 3/8"h when stitched on that fabric. The pattern calls for whole stitches only (whole stitches = beginner friendly and Aida friendly!). The model was stitched with DMC only. The pattern includes both a black/white symbol page as well as a color page, so you can choose to stitch from the format that works best for you.

Finish Fabric: The black/white gingham is French Chateau Gingham (in Raven) by Renee Nanneman for Andover Fabrics. The SKU is 9092-K1.
Cording: I used 6 strands of the full 6-ply DMC thread to make the cording with a Kreinik cording drill. All 6 lengths were DMC 729.
Bow: I used a 1.5" wire-edged Royal Burlap black ribbon from 5th Street Studio on Etsy. The SKU is RG127802. I also used a 3/8" gold grosgrain ribbon for the stacked bow. The gold ribbon is from The Ribbon Boutique (Hobby Lobby) and the SKU is 171595. The button in the centerpiece is a size 30 (3/4") covered button from Dritz. I used a scrap of green fabric from my stash to cover the button. It's old, so no SKU, sorry!
The materials listed above are unique to this piece. The foundational supplies (the board, glue, batting, etc--stuff you can't see) are the same no matter what I am finishing, so I buy those in bulk and keep them on hand. You can see what those materials are on the Tools and Organization page.
