OFFICIAL COOKIE TASTER - .PDF

Did someone say Christmas cookies? Sign me up!

Official Cookie Taster comes as a .PDF pattern and features gingerbread cookies, snowy pine and berry garlands, candy canes, snowflakes, and a row of peppermint striping. The text reads, "Official Cookie Taster."

The model is stitched with shades of green, red, white, and brown.

PATTERN DETAILS:

The model was stitched over 2 on 32ct Raw Natural Belfast Linen (Zweigart). The stitch count is 123w x 80h, which stitches up to be about 7 3/4"w x 4 7/8"h on that fabric. The pattern calls for whole stitches only. The model was stitched with floss from DMC and Weeks Dye Works, and DMC floss equivalents are provided for the specialty fibers. The pattern includes both a black/white symbol page as well as a color page, so you can choose to stitch from the format that works best for you.

RECREATE THE LOOK:

Finish Fabric: Both the red and green finish fabric used on the model are ancient and came from my stash, so there is no SKU. (Sorry!) I can tell you the green originally came from Hobby Lobby as a seasonal print. The colors on the model are pretty true Christmas Red and Christmas Green, so hopefully that makes finding your own coordinating fabric a little easier. I think red and white ticking or a red with white scattered dot would be a great alternative as a finish fabric on this one.

Cording: I used pre-made white twisted cord on this piece. It's 3/16 wide and is from Merchant 41 (Hobby Lobby). The SKU is 829341.

Bow: The base bow was made from a 1.5", white, wire-edge, royal-burlap ribbon from 5thStreetStudio on Etsy. Her stock fluctuates, so keep checking if it isn't in stock! I stacked it with 2 smaller bows made out of 3/8" ribbon. The red/white check ribbon is by the Ribbon Boutique (Hobby Lobby) and the SKU is 488924. The emerald green ribbon is also from The Ribbon Boutique (Hobby Lobby) and the SKU is 170910. The button in the centerpiece is a 7/8" natural brown wooden button that came out of my stash. No SKU on this one either. (Sorry!)

One more time, here it is. Hope you enjoy!
