Stitch this Cupid-approved .PDF cross-stitch pattern for Valentine's Day!

February 14 Valentine Smalls instant download .PDF cross-stitch pattern by Deanna Carter of Cherry Hill Stitchery. The design is finished on a white wooden tag from starry nights studio. The pattern calls for red, green, white, and pink colors, and it is stitched on Aida.

I designed February 14 because I wanted to fill out my Valentine tiered trays a little bit more and make some designs that would stitch up quickly :). I was also thinking about a Valentine smalls exchange and even ornaments on a Valentine Tree! So.... here it is! This pattern is the first of three Valentine Smalls that work really well for all of the above!

PATTERN DETAILS: The pattern calls for floss from DMC, Weeks Dye Works, and Classic Colorworks. DMC alternatives are provided for the specialty flosses. The model was stitched on 16ct black Aida. The stitch count is 36h x 33w, which stitches up to be about 2 ¼” h x 2”w on that fabric. The design is stitched using whole stitches only. The pattern comes with both a color format and a symbol format, so you can choose to stitch from the style the works best for you. It is a .PDF, so you can download and get started today!

RECREATE THE LOOK: Wooden Tag and Finish Fabric: I used a pre-made white tag from StarryNightsStudio that came with the red and white gingham already on the board. You can find the tags in the company's Etsy shop. Cording: I used white cording from Merchant 41. The SKU is 829341. Bow: The red ribbon is from 5th Street Studio on Etsy. It is a 1.5" wire-edge royal burlap ribbon and the SKU is RG127805.

The button is a size 30 covered button by Dritz. To cover it, I used white and red scattered dot fabric by Kimberbell for Maywood Studios Fabric, SKU# MAS8210-WR.

One more time, here is February14 all assembled:
