HI! I'M DEANNA
I'm the designer behind Cherry Hill Stitchery, and I'm so glad you stopped in! I'd love to introduce myself and tell you a little bit about Cherry Hill Stitchery.
I started designing cross stitch for a different company waaaaayyy back in 2005. (Yikes! That makes me feel old!) Several years later, I branched off and started Cherry Hill Stitchery. CHS patterns were available through LNS stores and distributors through mid 2017, and then in August 2019, I made the decision to switch completely to .pdf patterns. It wasn't the easiest choice, but it was the right one. One of my children is medically complex, and using the .pdf format gives me the time and flexibility to take care of both his needs and my stitchers the way that they deserve. Win! The stitching community has been wonderfully gracious and accepting of the change. So, to my amazingly loyal stitchers and to those of you who are just now discovering CHS patterns, thank you so much! With the switch to .pdf's, I've reinvented the CHS logo and the CHS website. It seemed like the thing to do since the CHS product line was totally changing too!
I like to think that Cherry Hill Stitchery patterns are both whimsical and approachable. If you follow Cherry Hill Stitchery on Instagram, you may have picked up on the fact that over-dyed threads make me swoon. I want all that luscious color to translate to my pieces, so I try to design patterns in a way that will let that over-dyed variegation shine. I know we're all on budgets though, so I use DMC frequently as well. I also tend to design with whole stitches only (there are a few exceptions...), and try super hard to keep my patterns small and manageable. We all love a piece we can actually finish, right?
Please know that I am here to answer any questions you have---I want your stitching experience to be a good one! Don't hesitate to reach out if there is anything at all that I can help you with, including finding any retired CHS patterns. If you'd like to share your CHS finishes with me on social media, be sure to use #cherryhillstitchery so I can find you. Customer finishes are seriously my very favorite things!
