Add a touch of magic and mischief to your St. Patrick's Day stitching with the new "Leprechauns Made Me Do It" cross-stitch pattern!
This St. Paddy's Day cross stitch pattern features DMC shades of green, black, and gold, so it is sure to add a little Irish charm to your displays. It includes a leprechaun hat and shoes, a lucky horseshoe, clover, and hearts.
PATTERN DETAILS: The pattern calls for floss from DMC. The model was stitched on 18ct opalescent white Aida. The stitch count is 37h x 152w, which stitches up to be about 2”h x 8 ½”w on that fabric. The design is stitched using whole stitches only. The pattern comes with both a color format and a symbol format, so you can choose to stitch from the style the works best for you. It is a PDF, so you can download and get started today!
RECREATE THE LOOK: Finish Fabric: The black/white gingham is Chelsea's Checks from Henry Glass Fabrics. The SKU is 9700-9. Cording: I made my own cording with a Kreinik custom corder and 7 lengths of DMC 3345. Bow: The black ribbon is from 5th Street Studio on Etsy. It is a 1.5" wire-edge royal burlap ribbon and the item number is RG127802. The green ribbon is ancient. It was originally from Stampin' Up, but is no longer available. Button: The button came from my stash. It was originally from a Sew-Ology pack of shank buttons that I picked up at Hobby Lobby, but I was unable to find the same set on the website at the time of this writing.
