LOVE - .PDF

Wintery love is in the air!

PATTERN DETAILS:

The model for this was stitched on 32ct Raw Natural Belfast linen (Zweigart) using 2 ply thread. The stitch count is 73w x 68h, and the finished design measures approximately 4 1/2"w x 4 1/8"h when stitched on that fabric. The pattern calls for whole stitches only, and uses floss from DMC. The pattern is stitched in shades of red, pink, black, white, and orange. It features a gingham banner at the top, two snowmen holding a garland of hearts who are surrounded by snow, and the word "Love" flanked by snowflakes with hearts.

WHERE TO BUY (Note, this pattern is available in .PDF format only. In other words, it is only available through the Cherry Hill Stitchery Etsy Shop and the shops that are authorized .PDF resellers)

RECREATE THE LOOK:

Finish Fabric: The red plaid is Priscilla's Pretty Plaids Red and White Bias Buffalo Check from Henry Glass Fabric, SKU #9300-8.

Cording: I used 6 lengths of 6 ply DMC B5200 for this thickness of cording. I spun the cording using my Kreinik cording drill.

Bow: I used a 1.5" wire-edged canvas ribbon from 5th Street Studio on Etsy. I used a Size 36 covered button from Dritz (7/8") as the bow centerpiece. I covered it with a piece of red/white scrap fabric from my stash.

The materials listed above are unique to this piece. The foundational supplies (the board, glue, batting, etc--stuff you can't see) are the same no matter what I am finishing, so I buy those in bulk and keep them on hand. You can see what those materials are on the Tools and Organization page. One more time, here it is all together:

Happy Stitching!
