Magnetic items are not meant for extended needle storage; they are designed to provide a temporary, stationary place to rest your needle during each stitching session. Secure your needles when not in use and when you need to transport your project.

Each thread keep has ten holes for floss, and each hole has a .5" diameter.

You have two options for keeping track of your floss numbers on the thread organizer:

Write above the hole with permanent marker (yes, permanent :) Don't be afraid! Permanent marker will wipe right off with rubbing alcohol, so when you are ready to reuse the organizer, simply clean off the marker with a rubbing alcohol prep pad.)

You may also use low tack or removable floss labels. Permanent marker is a great option if you are planning to hang your organizer on your stand or on a hook. Labels are a great option if the organizer will be tucked inside a project bag. See the video included in the product photos for a marker demonstration.
