Bobbins are 7 cm tall and 4.5 cm wide.

The acrylic base is 15.5 cm long and approx 6.6 cm wide.

Each bobbin in the set includes a hole at the bottom that measures 1.1 cm across.

The clear vinyl carrying case is 8 in. x 6 in. x 1.5 in.
You have two options for using floss with these versatile stitching accessories:
1.) Use them as bobbins and uck the ends of the floss into the hole at the bottom of each bobbin. When the bobbins are wound and standing in the base, that opening narrows, which helps to keep the ends of the floss tamed.
2. ) Turn the bobbins into floss drops so you can use them apart from the base.

To keep track of your floss numbers, you also have two options:
1.) Write the numbers right on the bobbins with permanent marker. Simply clean off the marker with a rubbing alcohol wipe when you are ready to reuse them.
2.) Keep keep track of the floss shades on each bobbin with with our blank, removable Needle Note floss labels, sold separately. Find them here.
Every acrylic item from Cherry Hill Stitchery®comes coated in a thin film to protect it during transit.

IMPORTANT: Peel off the film before use so the bobbins will fit well with the base. The bobbins are designed to click into the base securely. The film prevents them from fitting precisely.
